Cancellation, return and refund policy

Most of the products we offer, are make to order. That means they will be manufactured especially for you!

Under the circumstances, if user wish to cancel the order before dispatch takes place, user will need to bear cancellation charges.

Once the shipment is made the order can’t be cancelled. For it, please refer our terms of return and refund in return and refund section. ­

Cancellation before dispatch

If the order or the item(s) that user want to cancel have not been shipped yet, user will need to write to our customer support team and provide details of users order id, invoice details on support@prayingsoul.com or call us on +91-91679 55777 (Monday to Saturday, 9AM to 9PM).

In such cases, we will first inform the Cancellation charges through email and on the receipt of its acceptance from user through email, the cancellation can be considered. The cancellation charges acceptance from the user through email should reach us within two working days from the date of our cancellation charges confirmation. Once the order is cancelled the money after deducting cancellation charges will be refunded to user within 24-48 business hours after the cancellation request is duly processed.

Cancellation after dispatch

We do not accept cancellation once the product is dispatched.

Terms of Return and Refund

Return of product once product is shipped/delivered

  • return of Product if there are defects and deficiencies in the Product (attributable to, and accepted by Praying Soul after due verification at its sole discretion) or if the wrong product is delivered or Product is delivered late beyond 5 working days of mentioned delivery date (except in case of force majeure including COVID-19).

User will need to initiate the return by writing to our customer support team within five (5) working days of receipt of product and inform about users order id, invoice details and product pictures on support@prayingsoul.com or call us on +91-91679 55777 (Monday to Saturday, 9AM to 9PM).

In such case especially for the products such as wooden temple, we may send our specialist who will try to do minor repairs if possible at site so the product becomes good in all respect (attributable to, and accepted by Praying Soul after due verification at its sole discretion). If the repairs are not possible at site the specialist may attempt to repair it at their works within a duration of maximum 5 working days and hand over the product to you in all good condition (attributable to, and accepted by Praying Soul after due verification at its sole discretion). To and fro transportation and minor repair charges will be borne by Praying Soul. If our specialist confirms that repairs are not possible, the specialist will arrange for repacking the product. Praying Soul’s return logistic partner will collect the product from you and will send it back to our works. The Products will be picked up from you within the timelines intimated by us.

Once the product is Returned and received at our works, after the quality check the return request will be duly processed and the order value money will be refunded to user within 24-48 business hours. Optionally user can reorder the same product or any other product.

  • When user wish to return the product which was ordered and received by user in all good condition and having no defects.

 User will need to initiate the return by writing to our customer support team within five (5) working days of receipt of product and inform about users order id and invoice details on support@prayingsoul.com or call us on +91-91679 55777 (Monday to Saturday, 9AM to 9PM).

In such case, Praying Soul will first inform the Return charges through email and on the receipt of its acceptance from user through email, the Return can be considered. The Return charges acceptance from the user through email should reach us within two (2) working days from the date of our Return charges confirmation. For the products such as wooden temple, Praying Soul may depute the specialist who will recheck the product before dispatch and assist on repacking the product. The Products will be picked up within the timelines intimated by Praying Soul.

  Once the product is Returned at our works and quality check has been done. The return request will be duly processed and the money after deducting return charges will be refunded to user within 24-48 business hours.

The User shall ensure that the Product(s) being returned comply with the conditions set out under this Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy and are, among other conditions such as product is unused,  price tags/bar codes etc. are intact, all packaging material are undamaged and unused.

Return of or refund for purchased Products shall not be entertained by Praying Soul if the Product has been used for reasons and if Praying Soul is satisfied that the Product has been used.

Praying Soul shall reserve the right to reject the return of the Product if;

1. The Product has been washed;

2. The price tags, brand tags, box, original packaging material, and accompanying accessories have been damaged or discarded by the User;

3. The serial number/IMEI number/bar code of the Product, as applicable, does not match Praying Soul’s records;

4. The accessories delivered with the Product are not returned along with the Product, or are in damaged condition;

5. There are any dents, scratches, tears or any other damage to the Products or any part thereof;

6. gifts accompanying the purchased Product have not been returned

7. If the returned Products are fake or counterfeit or damaged;

8. if the User in any way breaches the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy

In the event a User returns a Product that is not accompanied by the accessories, gifts or other items originally bundled with such Product, Praying Soul shall have the right, exercisable at its sole discretion, to (i) (a) refuse to accept the return of such Product, or (b) process any refund thereof, or (ii) deduct the amount payable in respect of such items from the amount of refund such User is entitled to.

Praying Soul shall initiate a process of refund of the monies paid by the User towards purchase of a Product, if upon conducting quality checks, it is satisfied that the Product being returned entitles the User to a refund. It is further clarified that Praying Soul shall not be required to make any refund or return the Product that it deems ineligible for a refund or return based on such quality checks.

It is expressly clarified that the refund entitled to by a User shall not include some of the costs such as shipping cost or any other such costs applicable from time to time, except in case of a Product having a defect at the time of delivery or wrong product delivered or delay in delivery which is more than five (5) days than committed. (for reasons attributable to, and accepted by Praying Soul after due verification at its sole discretion).

 Praying Soul shall make all reasonable attempts to keep the User apprised of the status of refund through updates shared on the User’s registered mobile number and email address. Praying Soul disclaims all liabilities that may arise on account of its failure to keep the User apprised of the status of the refund.

If the request for refund is undisputed by Praying Soul, the refund should reflect in the User’s bank account and within such reasonable time (subject to the policies of the User’s bank in case of bank account/credit card refunds) from the date on which Praying Soul initiates the refund.

Return of purchased Products will be made through Praying Soul reverse-logistics partners. Upon a User making a request for return of Product and the same being duly acknowledged by Praying Soul, Praying Soul’s reverse-logistics partners shall get in touch with the User in order to collect the purchased Products from the User and delivering it to Praying Soul. While Praying Soul has made reasonable endeavors to ensure delivery and pick-ups across multiple locations in India, currently, Praying Soul has a select list of areas where deliveries and collection can be undertaken by its reverse-logistics partners. In events where Praying Soul is unable to facilitate a pick-up of the purchased Product for return from the User, the User is required to self-ship the Product to Praying Soul’s shipping warehouse, the address for which will be intimated to the User upon the User placing such request for return. Upon self-shipping the Product to Praying Soul’s warehouse, the User shall be required to scan the courier/postal receipt and send it to support@prayingsoul.com along with order details for Praying Soul’s records. The aforesaid return by self-shipping the Products is subject to the returned Products passing quality check at Praying Soul’s returns desk/warehouse. However, Praying Soul reserves the right to have a quality check at user’s site before dispatching product back, by deputing its specialist and also suggesting/carrying out remedial actions viz. repairs or so.

In the event where the User claims to have self-shipped the Product in accordance with the process set out above and Praying Soul does not receive the returned Product or the package containing such Product is empty, the User shall be required to submit the ‘proof of delivery’ received from the courier/postal agency to Praying Soul to prove his/her claim of return of Products through self-shipment to Praying Soul. It is specifically clarified that any refunds shall be processed by Praying Soul only upon it receiving the returned Products and concluding required quality checks or receiving the ‘proof of delivery’ from the User, as the case may be. However, Praying Soul reserves the right to have a quality check at users site by deputing its specialist and also suggesting/carrying out remedial actions viz. repairs or so.

Praying Soul reserves the right to alter and enforce this Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy at any time without having to serve a prior notice to the User. However, Praying Soul will notify the Users of any change in the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy by posting a notice on the homepage of the website for a week from such change.

 Grievance Redressal

Any grievances relating to the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy may be directed by user to the grievance officer of Praying Soul who can be contacted at grievance.officer@prayingsoul.com
